A business is only as good as its employees. That’s something we at Sterling and SureID recognize, which is why we dedicated a week to show our appreciation for our team’s energy, enthusiasm, and creativity.
We kicked off Employee Appreciation Week at SureID on Monday by warming up our opposable thumbs, donning our gamer caps, and diving into a workplace video game tournamentWe had multiple gaming stations set up around the office so we could indulge our competitive urges throughout the day. And no video gaming session would be complete without snacks, so we provided some Saturday morning style junk food and encouraged everyone to forget about calories for a moment and indulge their inner child.
Tuesday saw us armed with stamp pads for a little group art project—capturing rolled fingerprints. We know digital prints are where it’s at, but we wanted to kick it old school and compete against one another to see who could make the prettiest rolled prints. Inky fingertips all around!
On Wednesday, we did a raffle drawing. Three lucky participants won $50 gift cards to McMenamins. Who doesn’t want to win a night out at Oregon’s own historic brewpub?
Of course, fun and games are exciting, but so is the work we do here at SureID. We got down to business with an all-hands meeting on Thursday, but that meeting time wasn’t without perks—we served up some bagels and pastries from Einstein Bros., a perk sure to make any meeting more palatable. (Pass the cream cheese!)
On Friday, we’ll wrap up this fun week by celebrating our awesome employees with a team lunch catered by Baja Fresh.
We’re grateful to each and every person who makes up the SureID team and we appreciate everything they contribute daily to make SureID the success that it is in the fingerprinting and identity space.
